WASHINGTON - The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP) is calling on members to support the Injured and Amputee Veterans Bill of Rights recently reintroduced in Congress. The bill would require the Veterans Affairs to post online and in clinics the rights of veterans to quality orthotic and prosthetic care, including the right to appropriate technology, a second opinion, a spare prosthesis or orthosis, and their choice of practitioner. “We're hopeful...
